The 3D design concept is that 3D Cad modeling
is a completely separate activity to drafting / detailing.
A Cad 3D model aims to represent reality.
Center lines, hidden detail and dimensions have no place on a Cad 3D
model but belong strictly within the drafting / detailing activity.
3D Cad modeling is concerned with creating a true representation of
something, while drafting is concerned with creating traditional
drawing information from the model(s).
We can provide 3D electronic models which can be used for a variety of
applications.
The 3D model is a considerable aid in visualising the finished product,
without the need
to interpret 2D engineering drawings a client can see exactly how the
finished product will look.
2D drawings can be extracted from the model. The model can be used for
training sessions or
in presentations to clients. |
